Creating Frames

Frames divide the browser window into multiple view areas. Each view area can run independently of other view areas or react to activities occurring in other view areas. Some possible applications for frames are listed below.

Display the same information on every Web page, much like a letterhead
Display a table of contents containing links in one frame and the targets of those links in another frame
Use one frame to contain a form for submitting database queries and a second frame to display the results of the query
