Time<ToolKit>

Time<ToolKit> provides full functionality for time and date computations with accuracy to the microsecond. Full international text formatting is also provided. Time<ToolKit> is a rich set of 64-bit time and date classes, including international time zone support and a useful stopwatch facility. Because a 64-bit range is used for implementation, the range of times and dates you can represent is beyond most other implementations.

This chapter provides a summary of classes included in the Time<ToolKit> library, and covers the benefits of using Time<ToolKit>. This chapter uses examples to illustrate time-related classes, and includes sections covering the following topics.

Date - Lists available enumerators and provides examples of comparing two dates, accessing a date's attributes, and performing arithmetic on a date.
