Database<ToolKit> Client

Database<ToolKit> Client contains classes and methods exposing a simple API for rapid construction of portable database application programs.

This chapter covers the benefits of using Database<ToolKit> Client library and provides a summary of the classes included in the Database<ToolKit> Client. This chapter uses examples to illustrate database classes and algorithms, and includes sections covering the following topics.

Connecting to Databases - Introduces the os_db_connection class and methods, designed to easily connect to remote ODBC Data Sources (databases) via the Database<ToolKit> Server.
Executing SQL Statements - Presents the os_db_statement class, and demonstrates how it can provide execution of an SQL statement and access to the statement's results.
